# What Is Swap?

**Swap** trades any token on Flare at the best rate it can find. It lives at [thanasdefitools.xyz/swap](https://thanasdefitools.xyz/swap) and is powered by **Enosys Route**, a swap router built for Flare.

## Where it looks for a price

Every quote searches these venues at once:

* **DEX pools:** Enosys V2, Enosys V3, BlazeSwap, SparkDEX V2, SparkDEX V3.1 and SparkDEX V4.
* **Liquid staking:** staking or unstaking through Sceptre sFLR, SparkDEX stFLR and the Enosys yAPS, yHLN and yCDP vaults, when that pays more than a pool.

A quote can split your trade across several routes and chain up to a few hops, for example FXRP → WFLR → sFLR. It only does so when the result is better after gas.

## What makes it different

* **No servers.** Your browser finds the route by reading Flare directly through a read-only contract. Nothing sits between you and the chain.
* **Any token.** Paste a contract address to trade a token that isn't listed. Before you can buy it, Swap checks whether it can be sold again and whether it takes a tax on transfers.
* **You always get at least the minimum shown.** The router checks what you received and cancels the whole swap if it is less.
* **The router can't change.** It has no owner and no upgrade path, so the approval you give it can never be used for anything else. Its settings live in a separate registry. Adding venues, vaults or a new executor, and changing the swap fee, wait 48 hours behind a public timelock. Routing settings can be tuned at once, but only within fixed limits, and venues, vaults and executors can be switched off at once in an emergency. None of these settings can move anyone's funds.
